Baptisms normally take place on a Sunday after the 11.00 am Mass, usually at 12:15 pm (or 12:45 pm on the last Sunday of the month).

Baptisms need to be booked well in advance, and will be conducted by either the Parish Priest or the Deacon.

Parents wanting to arrange a baptism will need to contact the Parish Priest or Deacon, and depending on circumstances they may be asked to come to a meeting to prepare for the Sacrament.

There needs to be at least one Roman Catholic Godparent.  Other Christians may also act as what is called a “Christian Witness”.
